I’ve been reading Autobiography of a Yogi, and it is absolutely life changing. If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it. I have found that connecting to my higher power each day, and meditating, has helped me to calm my thoughts and inner voice. My typical level of anxiety has almost disappeared. I can’t say that a really big, important meeting wouldn’t still cause me some anxiety, but certain things that used to cause me daily anxiety, no longer cause that reaction in me. It’s important for our mental health to find what works for us to calm our minds!
